I currently work as a Financial Planner with Vision Credit Union Ltd. and Credential Asset Management Inc. Providing tailored investment solutions and long-term strategies, is the focus of my business. Originally from the UK Maroof emigrated to Canada in 1999 Maroof is a dynamic multi-faceted individual with substantive knowledge and experience in real estate acquisitions and disposal, real estate investment analysis, valuation and appraisal, building sciences, engineering and consulting, and mortgage brokerage and underwriting practices.
Maroof holds globally recognized real estate specific designations including Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute, Professional Appraiser (AACI, P.App) of the Appraisal Institute of Canada, Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of the CCIM Institute, Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) qualified in Building Surveying holding two current charterships in Project Management and Valuation. He is a licensed Real Estate ‘Broker’ with the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO), presently fulfilling his second term on the Discipline and Appeals Committee. Maroof is also a licensed ‘Mortgage Broker’ with the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA), and hold other relevant credentials not mentioned in this bio.

An avid mountain biker and snowboarder, Maroof likes watching UFC and boxing, obtained his motorcycle license in 2020 during the C19 pandemic, took up 4 wheel off-roading, and aspires to make time for hobbies like photography, barrier free design, and site seeing. He has a soft spot for old monuments and historic buildings.
I had almost 20 years of working as a Legal Assistant with Lawyers in the Burlington area until I made the move to being a Financial Advisor in 2013. I share an office with two other IPC Advisors and offer Mutual Funds and Life Insurance. The CEA Program is a great addition to my credentials to help our clients and their family members during their crisis situations.

The Estate Specialist
position was created to ensure a consistent member experience when assisting
members with estates, while still providing compassion in a time of need. This
role is responsible for ensuring that the estate process is handled seamlessly,
which in turn supports the branches in retaining funds of deceased members.
This position looks for ways to do things easier, better, and faster,
contributing to building our Nimble organization.
Building strong trustworthy relationships and
connection with our members and them having confidence and trust in me and
showing that I care about them and listening and seeing them and providing
guidance to help them through their difficult loss of a loved one that they are
not alone in this that I am here for them.
