I am a Self-employed Financial advisor since 1990. Mutual  Funds and other investments through Sterling Mutuals Inc. Individual tax preparation experience since 1992. Life / Accident and Sickness Insurance licensed Level 2 since 1990.

I have Experience in over 100 estate settlements ranging from death claims on policies to terminal tax returns to will and trust consultations. Further I have also been an executor myself for multiple estates.

I have established contacts with legal professionals, mortgage brokers and am looking to build additional quality referal sources for my clients.

Our business is an insurance brokerage and we specialize in providing living benefit coverage in addition to life insurance to our clients.  We also help business owners tailor group insurance or employee benefit programs to their unique needs as well as keeping in mind cost containment strategies.  We also help people assist with their changing insurance needs throughout their lifetime.  

I have an accounting and tax preparation business where we prepare personal, corporate and trust returns. As well, I have a financial service business where we act as a mutual fund and life insurance agent.

I graduated from Humber College Funeral Services Education and qualified for my Funeral Directors license in 1988. I worked in Toronto until 1994 when I married and relocated to a small town where funeral director positions were few and far between.  I was introduced to Primerica in 2003 and attended an open house. The information I heard that night resonated within me.  I needed to learn about money so  I could help people like myself who needed this information.  I passed my LLQP and was life licensed in 2004. That I was able to really help people financially through education was the best feeling in the world.  In 2008 I was diagnosed with PTSD and was unable to cope working with new clients, so took a job in manufacturing.  I first learned of the CEA program when I had a capsule course for my funeral service continuing education in 2021.  Again; the knowledge I learned during that 2 hours resonated within me.  I needed to learn this. I am finally comfortable with my abilities to rejoin the service industry and feel being a CEA  is certainly a step in the right direction

Catherine serves families and individuals through several Funeral Homes which are owned by one of the largest family owned Canadian firms. While Catherine brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to every interaction, she is always seeking ways to offer more. In her search for greater knowledge, she has earned the designation of Licensed Funeral Pre-Planner and Certified Executor Advisor. Additionally, Catherine holds the designation of Commissioner for Taking Affidavits.
