I am the Owner and President of McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre.  I am also a licenced Funeral Pre Planner with the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, Aftercare Specialist and a  Bereavement Counsellor trained with  Centre for Life & Loss Transitions and Kings College. 

I am a Wills, Estates and Trusts lawyer in Vancouver.  I work with individuals to implement effective plans for transition of wealth, business succession, incapacity, disability and other related needs.

I also work with Executors and Trustees to assist them in carrying out their duties and responsibilities in these roles.  In particular, I assist with probate applications, identifying assets, ambiguous Wills, accounts, distributions, and other complex legal issues that can arise in the course of the administration process.

Kim is a seasoned advisor with 18 years of experience helping seniors and pre-retirement clients structure income solutions for their most satisfying years.  Kim's core values are based around honesty and integrity, and are the basis for all of her relationships with her clients.  She believes financial planning goes far beyond the numbers.  She believes it is the journey and the execution of the plan as it pertains to personal circumstances that makes the plan fulfilling and effective.  In the ever changing complex world of investing, Kim helps guide her clients through a planning process to ensure that her clients act on their ultimate wishes.

Kim lives in Bolton with her husband and 3 daughters.  She is a community advocate and is a proud member of the local chamber and is a past Chair.    

Kim is a registered Elder Planning Counselor (EPC), Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS), is Life Licensed and an Investment Representative, and a securities licensed Financial Advisor. 

I have been in Life Insurance and Investment planning business for families that require good understanding of the importance of planning for the future life after work and transfer assets accumulated during their lifetime to their spouse and children with minimum tax impact.

Benjamin graduated from Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law. and in 2015 began his career as a lawyer. In December of 2018, Benjamin formed Barrington Law Inc. and bought a rural law practice in the Barrington area of Nova Scotia and has expanded the practice to serve Shelburne County, as well as other parts of the South Shore, and also the Truro area in central NS. 

Being a rural practitioner, Benjamin runs a
general practice focused on transactional law. He has a special interest in the
fields of property, estates and estate planning, marine, and business.
