I founded Zavitz Insurance and Wealth in 1983.   It began as a specialty company in the field of living benefits, critical illness, disability and long term care insurance, and has grown to include group and life insurance plus financial, retirement and estate planning.  The inclusion of "Wealth" in our name points to our focus on the full financial picture of our valued clients.   I hold the following designations, CFP, CLU, CHS, GBA, EPC, TEP.  

One of the most important investments that we make for our clients is time. I became a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones in order to help people. I do this by first investing my time understanding what is most important to you.

We have a carefully constructed 5 Step Process that helps to slow life down. We put all of the pieces of our client's financial puzzle into place as life unfolds and needs evolve. We stay true to our philosophy of helping clients achieve financial independence. The personalized plan that we put together will steer our clients towards reaching and maintaining a work optional lifestyle.

Our branch team is made up of myself and Branch Office Administrator Patty Mills. Together, we enjoy nothing more than helping our clients achieve their dreams.

When I am not in the office I enjoy spending time with my wonderful wife, Callie, and our growing family. We enjoy travelling and can be found taking in a baseball game during much of the summer.

I completed my CPA in USA before moving to Canada and currently work as Finance Manager for a multinational. I'm learning CEA to offer advisory services for estate executors.

My name is Esther Alojipan Alejo, managing director of EA Starlight Consulting Services here in Toronto.  I help clients prepare their income tax returns being a registered CRA Efiler.  I provide clients with informed decision in obtaining life insurance, living benefits, investment planning and registered education savings plan, being a life insurance agent. I am also a paralegal and can represent clients in Small Claims Court, Landlord and Tenant Board and in provincial offences courts. I am also an Elder Planning Counselor and can assist elderly clients and their families in their retirement planning.

I am a Family Service Advisor and Licenced Funeral Preplanner. Prior to working in the Funeral Industry (started May 2016), I served as a Police Officer (Sergeant) in the Region of Waterloo for 31 years: March 31, 1985 to March 31, 2016.

I have been with Graham A Giddy Funeral Homes Ltd since August 2020. I thoroughly enjoy working here as they are a family owned business and the care given to families is second to none.

Michele founded what is now Journey Law in 2009. She has recently restricted her practice to estates & estate administration and estate planning. 

Journey Law is the realization of Michele’s vision of providing the best client service possible in a warm, welcoming environment. 

Michele has been busy during her almost 20 years as a lawyer, but you can Google her and read about those things if you want. What likely matters most to you is that Michele is friendly and approachable. She listens individually to the needs of each client and does not believe in a “one size fits all” approach to any legal issue. With more complex matters, Michele prefers a team approach, working with other professionals and advisors to best meet the needs of the client. 

Because she is always looking to enhance her knowledge to assist her clients, Michele has obtained her TEP designation from the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners and is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Canada. 

When she is not working on Journey Law, Michele is parenting two young adults and a dog named Finn and spending time with her partner and step-children. She enjoys thrift shopping, travel and spending time with her family.

For over 20 years I have been in practice doing personal, business, corporate, trust and final estate income tax returns.  I also help business and individuals negotiate with both the Federal and Quebec governments to find a resolution.  I am also a curator to a person and a mandatory to another so am familiar with the processes.
