share their wealth.  Irene is a Certified Financial Planner® who’s been in
the financial services industry since 1995.  She graduated from the
University of Waterloo and holds the Elder Planning Counselor and Registered
Retirement Counselor designations.  Irene is a familiar face having
appeared in magazines and on radio and television.  She’s also highly
involved in her community through such organizations as She Shares, in support
of St. Mary’s Hospital, and Cambridge Memorial Hospital.

I am a FCPA,FCA,CGA,CFP,ICD.D and advising retired partner from a public practise firm in Alberta.   I already have significant experience acting as an executor for many different estates from farms, businesses, simple and complicated estates including insolvent estates. my goal is to help people through this process and use the years of experience ive gained to ease their burden

Wealth Planning Consultants Ltd. - a fee-based boutique financial advisory
firm based in Brandon, Manitoba.  I
serve as lead Financial Planner for a select group of young professionals,
business owners, farmers and seniors - providing perspective, clarity and
professional financial advice.

I led and grew successful wealth management teams for much of my career.  I
have been a financial planning professional and advising clients for 28 years,
with expertise in tax, estate & retirement planning.

Chapter of Advocis for 9 years and am an advocate and member of both the
Canadian Association of Farm Advisors and the Financial Planning Association of
Canada.



Since becoming a life and accident & sickness licensed advisor in 1994 and
mutual funds advisor in 1996, I obtained several insurance, investment and
financial planning designations, including Financial Management Advisor (2003),
Certified Financial Planner (2003), Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute
(2004), Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (2009), Chartered Life
Underwriter (2011) and Elder Planning Counselor (2021).

Richard is a Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, Chartered Investment Manager, Certified Executor Advisor and owner of WealthSmart Incorporated. He has instructed many financial workshops since 1994, including Financial Strategies for Successful Retirement and The WealthSmart Workshop series. He is also available to businesses and community groups for speaking engagements.

His business experience since 1985 has ultimately taught him that nothing is more important to people than changing their worlds. The same experience has also allowed him to see through a lot of the noise in the financial industry and to favour science over speculation. 

Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, his heart is right here in Richmond, BC, where he has lived since 1970. He and his wife, Zinha, have three awesome sons – Peter, Matt and Daniel.

The whole family has been involved in the community in many ways and feels it is their mission to helping others achieve their dreams. Richard is dedicated to lifelong learning and loves time with family, cycling, hiking and photography.

Andrew Villeneuve works with owner managed and privately held business from various industry sectors. He assists clients by providing objective and practical advice regarding audit and accounting issues, tax, succession and estate planning matters. Andrew strives to gain a complete understanding of his clients' businesses to ensure opportunities are identified and risks are mitigated. He takes the time to ensure that both staff and clients fully understand the various tax and accounting issues that they encounter.

I have been working in the financial services industry for over 30 years.  During that time, I focused primarily on Risk Management and Compliance.  However, my love has always been assisting members with Estate Administration.   I was delighted to have this learning opportunity with the Canadian Institute of Certified Executor Advisors.  I learned a ton about Estates and am looking forward to applying what I have learned in my interactions with members and other employees.  I am also looking forward to networking opportunities with other CEA graduates.  

Mauricio is originally from Mexico City and grew up in a business family. He completed his MBA at the University of Saskatchewan, and has now lived in Canada for over two decades. Mauricio is passionate about supporting his clients with the various aspects of their wealth needs. With over 16 years of experience in financial services, Mauricio has provided personalized, discrete financial counsel to a select group of affluent families and their businesses throughout western Canada. Mauricio works with a talented group of professionals at BMO Commercial Banking, Corporate Finance Division.

Gina
Vliet, founder of Charon Consulting and Executor School, offers expertise in
end-of-life planning, executorship, and resilience building. She educates small
groups and families, helping them navigate issues related to death and dying,
empowering them to take control of their end-of-life journey to leave better
memories for loved ones.

Her expertise has been featured on CBC, and she has hosted over 60 Death Cafés. She
also contributed to the creation of Compassionate Alberta, a province-wide
project to raise awareness and provide resources for palliative care and
advance care planning.

With over 20 years in leadership, certification as an Executor Advisor, education in
funeral services, and experience as an instructional designer and facilitator,
she takes a practical and fun approach to helping people acknowledge their mortality and plan for their inevitable demise.

I have a BsC in Business Administration and majored in Finance and Economics. I am a Financial Advisor and service HNW in Sylvan Lake. I heard about CEA through our firm. 

Tyler started Hope Financial Solutions as a personal finance coaching business in 2021. Tyler has a heart to help those in grief and need, bringing clarity and stability to their financial situation as they mourn the loss of a loved one. As a CEA, Tyler is privileged to be able to step into situations of loss, and bring peace and clarity to the financial situation.

Tyler has been a fully accredited CPA since 2015, and recently completed his CEA accreditation. Tyler has worked in a variety of corporate financial roles for about 15 years before branching out to start his own business.

Tyler is happily married with one child, and lives on Waterford, Ontario.
