I have been working with the CU system my entire working career and in the last several years have shifted my role over leading the Investment Operations, Administration Team.  Focusing on registered products, including Estates.

I will be completing my Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in December 2025 with a major in Finance from the University of Manitoba and am currently completing my LLQP certification. As a Francophone, I am proud to serve clients in both English and French, making financial planning more accessible to everyone.

Being new to the financial services industry allows me to bring a fresh perspective, strong energy, and a genuine passion for helping clients succeed. My objective is to paint a clear picture that encompasses all aspects of someone’s financial well-being, not just investments. Kim has worked for over 42 years in the financial services industry as an executive focused on workplace retirement and savings plans.  Recently retired herself from full-time work, she is now focused on helping individuals who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Whether you are a first time executor and are feeling overwhelmed, or are simply looking for a little help, Kim is available to walk you through every step of the estate settlement process. Duxbury & Associates is an advice only financial planning firm, that doesn't sell products and is free of conflicts of interest. The firm focuses primarily on helping Canadians understand their retirement readiness and how to effectively draw income during their retirement years. 

Passages Law services clients primarily in the estates area, which include probates, re-sealings of foreign jurisdiction probates, and estate litigation; we also do basic corporate work and real estate transactions.

I have practiced as Notary Public in British Columbia since May
2012 after graduating from the Master's Program in Applied Legal Studies at Simon Fraser
University. I specialize in real estate conveyancing,
mortgages, drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney and Representation Agreements. I am fluent in English,
Russian and German.

I am currently the Manager of Finance at Providence Care Centre in Kingston and have been with the organization for 22 years.  Looking to retire in 5-6 years and would like something to keep me occupied.  A friend of mine, a financial advisor, recommended this course to me.
